Box completely damaged, no protection on the collectors tin, product out of stock. NIGHTMARE

Red carpet early access. What a joke! Every (genuine) red carpet member please lodge your complaint Already spoke to a representative who wasn't interested. Pretty disgraceful zavvi.

Really disappointed at the release time, this alone will make me not renew my red carpet! This is not how priority works Zavvi! More like black carpet!

Yeah I honestly can't believe why we paid for red carpet access. Very very frustrating.

100 quid for 3 steelbooks is overpriced especially as you only get 4k discs, no bluray or special features blurays. The Middle Earth Collection is confirmed for 2021 so just wait and buy that. Or get this cheap when people flog them to get that version!

I was aware this was being released and waited for confirmation via Red Carpet and you chose to release it in the middle of the night!! Thanks Zavvi. Will not be renewing!

Excellent box set - really nice steelbook designs, housed in a metal box. Far nicer than the old DVD and Blu ray steelbook for the LoTR and Hobbit range. Also much appreciated that they just have the 4K discs - I don’t need yet another copy on blu ray

Really beautiful steel book. Genuinely one of the nicest I’ve ever seen. However, I ordered this along with the Hobbit steel book trilogy, both arrived in the same box, very little padding and as a result the steel books were severely damaged. I’m in the process of returning them which is a bit of a pain. The online chat is a bit naff. Takes days to complete a conversation and resolve an issue. So the product is brilliant. But whether it arrives in good condition is a gamble. A sizeable one given the cost of the box set.

Pay for red carpet early access wake up to find they are sold out what a bunch of jokers

I saw these when a friend bought them. Gorgeous. I couldn’t make up my mind about getting them because they are quite expensive (although not actually not bad when you think about it.) Before I could decide they disappeared. Now they’re back for sale and I’ve snapped them up straight away. These are the best films of all time so I’ve always wanted my copies to be special. Can’t wait!
