This is one of the nicest box sets I own and my first entry into Lord of the Rings, the steelbooks are fantastic and the quality of the video and sound on the discs are great for the bits I've looked at so far. Zavvi's packaging needs to be improved, I had both this, and The Hobbit delivered in an oversized box with air packs wrapped around the sides of the box but nothing separating the collections and a gap in the middle, no protection on the top or bottom. The Hobbit arrived damaged, so I needed to return it.

After ordering all the way back in Jan i finally have this set which got me into steelbooks. The set was packaged and secured very well. Big box plenty of padding and protection no damage at all. Very happy. Finally i have my precious.

Paid red carpet subscriber!!! What’s the point when new releases are made in the middle of the night. When majority are sleeping. Missed out and not happy, what a scam. Then sold to the highest bidder on eBay for double the price. Shocking treatment.

This is a very nice Steelbook release, the steels are all housed inside a foam holder which is inside a larger Steel container, very tidy, the individual Steels have nice artwork , The 4k transfers are top notch and looked stunning on my Oled, very impressed . Zavvi packed these very well in a large box surrounded by bubble wrap and the Steel was inside another box, very happy with that.

Just so you know. These steelbooks DOESN'T have the age warning symbols on them. The pictures are incorrect. The only age warning symbol is on the outer case not on the individual steelbooks. These are the most beautiful steelbooks i own.

Beautiful box set, well designed, looks satisfying on display. Delivered in perfect condition in a sturdy cardboard box. Happy with my purchase. :)

I was gutted to see last night I’d missed out on the LotR, sold out in less than 25min!!! No prior red carpet warning - just the email. Managed to get the hobbit version. Then this morning I wake up and check me email - Red Carpet !!! Last few remaining LotR sets... boosh! Nabbed one. Guttted that people are missing out and I’ve seen eBay scalpers already listing agent 50% mark up! :( Will be a great addition to collection and long waited... both this and The Hobbit. I wonder why we never got the red carpet email first last night then the normal email. Rather than this morning. Oh well... fingers crossed Zavvi releases more stock.

I love these films and to have them all in such a great package is amazing. My only gripe is it would have been nice to have got at least some of the amazing extras we got with the first dvds.and the big golden bluray set.

Amazing steelbook trilogy, great design and looks great on 4k highly recommended for any Lord of the rings fans. Ordered with next day delivery and received on time, zavvi kept me updated with step by step delivery. Really happy I got this with it being so difficult to get now
