This product is beautiful. Both the presentation of the steelbook cases and the movie itself in 4k. Yea, it does look better than the standard Blu-ray version. Some of the scenes of mountains and where the lighting is just right really blow you away. Bit disappointed to see people rating it 1* based off the red carpet service being useless, which while frustrating has no bearing on this products quality.

Perfect trilogy in 4K, with a stylistic steelbook finish! Very pleased.

The greatest films in 4k HD! What more can you want? My only issue is the lack of protective packaging so the item arrived bent out of shape.

Individual steelbooks and box are well presented. Nice art for each film. No lid/cover for the front of the box which would complete it but other wise with the buy

This set has gone straight into the upper echelons of my favourites from my collection. The quality and care taken with it is second to none - just look at the outer box. If you compare this with the dismal outer box Paramount came up with to house the Indiana Jones 4K Steelbook set, it puts it to shame. In addition, you get both the theatrical and extended editions in 4K, and the video and sound are both top notch. Well done all involved!

The look of the case is beautiful and I love the the rounded corners; makes the case more gorgeous to look at. A lovely collectors item.

An excellent 4K transfer. An already fantastic trilogy gets the 4K upgrade it deserves. The steelbooks look fabulous and again a worthy addition. The price tag may put some off, but for me, it’s well worth it

For a LotR collector these are a real must. Beautifully presented and superb imagery.
