Mainly bought it for nostalgia purposes. Not a fan of the games & I know the movie is nothing like them anyway. Even as a kid I knew this wasn't the greatest film, but I really enjoyed it & the transfer on my LG Oled is near perfect. Great contrast, deep inky blacks & colours that pop thanks to HDR. The Atmos track is also very impressive, plenty of height & surround activity, with strong LFE during the action scenes. Was worried it would be worse than I remember but the overall package made it very enjoyable & it's well worth a pick up, if not for the transfer/atmos, then just to appreciate one of the first fully CGI animated films & appreciate how the 4K upgrade has made it the best it's ever looked!
