A trip to the City of Brotherly Love, for a film that's based on a true story. An intensely emotional journey that starts as soon as the Springsteen theme song starts to swell. Hanks and Washington are fantastic. As the film deals with attitudes towards Aids and in doing so, the educating of the prejudiced attitudes that were still prevalent when the film was screened in cinemas, and to some extent are still today. A heartfelt tale that has me in tears time and again. Now on this stunning 4K disc, which looks and sounds amazing.
