Cockneys Vs. Zombies is a classic B movie material. I especially loved Richard Briers with a zimmer frame being chased across the lawn by the Zombies, brilliant. Not a thinking mans film by any stretch of the imagination but worthy time killing piece of entertainment.
Cs. Vs Zs. is a great way to spend 90 minutes. Althought I'm a Kiwi, I've always loved Cockney humour. There are plenty of laughs, all hanging the improbable and crazy theme of a bunch of a bunch og Cockney wideboys, and girls, tackling an invasion of zombies. All done at a frantic pace - well, except in one hilarious scene - but I don't want to be a spoiler. Cs. Vs Zs. is all done in the worse possible taste, of course, so it reminds me of a 'Carry on' film, on steroids. The four stars I gave it is actually 4.5. I enjoyed this film so much I'd be happy to view it again and again, at about six monthly intervals; afterall, you can only stomach so many zombies at a time.
