David Fincher's latest movie Mank leads the race with a total of ten nominations including Best Picture, Best Director and Best Actor.
In its footsteps with six nominations each are Judas And The Black Messiah, Minari, Nomadland, Sound Of Metal, The Father and The Trial Of The Chicago 7.
The late Chadwick Boseman has been posthumously nominated for Best Actor for his stunning performance in Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom, whilst fans of Borat Subsequent Moviefilm will be delighted to see actor Maria Bakalova get the Oscar nomination for Best Supporting Actress that she deserved.
Two women were nominated for best director - Chloe Zhao for Nomadland and Emerald Fennell for Promising Young Woman - marking the first time more than one woman has been nominated in the category in the Oscars' long history.
