First Footage Of Black Adam Premieres At DC FanDome

After the first teaser debuted at DC FanDome in 2020, fans have now got their first proper look at Black Adam.

The opening scene from next year’s movie premiered at tonight’s 2021 event, introducing the world to Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson as the studio’s most powerful character of them all.

Take a look at the footage below:

If last year’s animated teaser introduced us to Black Adam the character, this first footage gives us more insight into the visuals of the movie.

At the event, The Rock announced the film had just entered post-production and teased that it features some of the “biggest action sequences” that he’s ever been a part of.

Here, the antihero has been released from prison after 5,000 years, and his powers are about to get unleashed – setting him up as the arch-rival of Shazam.

In addition to The Rock, Black Adam stars Noah Centineo, Aldis Hodge and Pierce Brosnan, and will be directed by Jaume Collet-Serra (Jungle Cruise). It will be released on 29th July 2022.
