Dune Leads BAFTA Nominations With 11 Nods, Including Best Film

The spice is flowing at the BAFTAs, as Dune leads with 11 nominations.

The science-fiction epic from director Denis Villenueve is nominated for Best Film, alongside Belfast, Don’t Look Up, Licorice Pizza and The Power Of The Dog.

Interestingly, Dune managed to rack up the most nominations while missing out on most of the other major categories, with the exception of Best Adapted Screenplay.

Instead, it’s other nominations are for Best Original Score, Casting, Cinematography, Editing, Production Design, Costume Design, Makeup And Hair, Sound, and Special Visual Effects.

Warner Bros. Pictures

In terms of nominations, The Power Of The Dog is second with eight, Belfast has six, whilst No Time To Die, Licorice Pizza and West Side Story have five apiece.
