Powerful!
5Heard one of the songs for this randomly on Spotify and immediately ordered this film. Not only is this set spectacular but the film is equally as beautiful and has honestly left a really strong impression. Highly recommend!

An amazing movie with a great collectors set!
5This movie is one of those that keeps your heart pounding even when it’s over. Mamoru Hosoda brought us a movie about growing up, embracing your fears, facing grief and finding your place and authenticity. And there’s more to be found inside this movie, but I won’t say much so I don’t spoil the entire thing. Before I finish, did I mention the music of this movie is PHENOMENAL!!!! Go watch this movie!! Beautiful.

Great, but not perfect
4As far as a deluxe edition goes, this get 5/5, the movie on both 4K and Blu-Ray, 2 discs of special features, an amazing soundtrack on CD and a thick booklet + some art cards. While I love steelbooks as well I wish more movies got this special edition treatment. As for the movie, I'd never seen it before. It was visually stunning and as I already said, the soundtrack was amazing, but I felt it stumbled somewhat through the story. Without spoiling anything I'll say that it feels like two stories crammed into one, and one of them could, and maybe should, have been the entire movie (with some re-wrties were the stories overlap as is). The other story is emotional and important enough, but I kept waiting for it to carry more weight with the main plot, but even as it is part of the major conclusion for both plots, it didn't feel fully realized for me. Still a solid movie that was never boring for me, though some suspension of disbelief is needed for how intricate the digital world is, as this is otherwise a realistic story with realistic people with out any real fantasy elements, unlike in some of Hosoda's earlier works. I must also comment on the audio. When possible I always watch with the original audio, and on the Blu-Ray (haven't tried the 4K as I don't have a 4K setup yet) it offers both 7.1 and 2.0 of both English and Japanese, with several subtitle option for both languages, such as SDH or "normal", or just translated signs (for english only) which was great. I had no problem with the Japanese audio, but I always like to check some select scenes in English as well, and I did experience the balance between the dialogue and the soundtrack to be quite bad in the English mix. Often the dialogue would be hard or outright impossible to hear because of the music, and sometimes even the lyrics to the songs were drowned out by the music. Be prepared to watch this movie with subtitles even if you're gonna watch it in English, or you might not have any idea what's going on (this might be different on the 4K, I don't know).

5This edition of Belle is amazing! The packaging is beautiful and so is the film. Unfortunately my item was damaged but Zavvi replaced it IMMEDIATELY. I can't stress enough how awesome their customer service team has been. Thanks guys! Five stars all around!

A really nice edition
5This was the first time I watched this film. It was a blind buy, which was a bit risky at that time, but it ended up being really worth it. The films was really good and the animation was really well done, and the dolby vision really added to it. The picture quality was really good, the picture was sharp and clear, and the colours really popped. Not only was the PQ really good, this limited edition set from Anime Limited was really good, and what you got really made it feel like a premium product. I felt that the price was worth it, especially when you get 5 discs (4x Blu-rays & a soundtrack CD), postcards and a book. I can easily highly recommend this set to anyone.

Amazing set!
5An absolutely amazing set! This is one of the best pieces of anime physical media I own, and I have quite a few on my shelf. If you're a collector like me, and you love anime, this is highly recommended!

Belle Delivers!!
5Starting with the physical product: it’s another fantastic all the anime/zavvi exclusive collectors edition. Everything has a high quality finish from the gloss finish on the outer box to the page quality in the art book - to which the content is typical of a anime collectors edition but still insightful to the films creation. The film itself is also a magical experience. Definitely up there with Wolf Children, Summer Wars and the other's - it’s a film you will want to watch again in the near future. Couldn’t recommend highly enough

True Beauty
5Retellings of old fairy tales are ten-a-penny. It can be easy to get lost in all the different versions of that story. Hosoda’s internet-era fairy tale is stunning. It is heartbreakingly beautiful, and touches greater themes of of beauty, pain, compassion, and self-love. A must for anyone looking for a fairy tale with some actual depth to it. Cannot recommend it highly enough.

Worth the wait
5After waiting for the release due to stock issues (which zavvi kept you in the loop so you knew what was happening) its finally arrived. No damage during postage, once opened up the cds were where they are supposed to be the art work that you recieve looks amazing on glossed card the poster is a4 size but I'm ok with that, and there is even a card that tells you which edition you have out of 3000. Overall super happy with this purchase and can't wait to watch it.
