Probably the best Mel Gibson's movie

Amazing Blu-ray image and sound quality. Probably the best Mel Gibson's movie.

Really great, but with room for improvement

This is a great movie and the blu-ray is not a let down at all. It has pretty good definition, but I always had the feeling that a 4K disc could really bring it over the top on both image and sound. HDR and Atmos would do this title wonders - that and portuguese subtitles...one of the most spoken languages in the world!

what blu-ray was invented for !

This film is with out doubt what blu-ray was invented for, it's quite simply AWESOME !!! Certificate 18 all the way as it's over flowing with violence and gore. Not since Rambo have I seen one man go on a slaughter fest like this, Jaguar Paw kills anybody who gets in his way in his quest to be reunited with his family. Mel Gibson has certainly been under the spot light of recent times for one reason or another, but one thing is for sure he can certainly make movies. With this film he chooses to use subtitles and ironically it's the second ive seen recently and both have been excellent films. The blu-ray is sublime, HD has come home, the jungle scenes alone are hot, humid amd steamy and so realistic they even had me sweating. The colours are deep and heavy, the audio crystal clear, all made possible by the HD. This is a hidden gem of a movie and a definate must see !
