Based on real events, the dramatic thriller "Argo" chronicles the life-or-death covert operation to rescue six Americans, which unfolded behind the scenes of the Iran hostage crisis, focusing on the little-known role that the CIA and Hollywood played - information that was not declassified until many years after the event. On November 4, 1979, as the Iranian revolution reaches its boiling point, militants storm the U.S. Embassy in Tehran, taking 52 Americans hostage. But, in the midst of the chaos, six Americans manage to slip away and find refuge in the home of Canadian Ambassador Ken Taylor. Knowing it is only a matter of time before the six are found out and likely killed, the Canadian and American governments ask the CIA to intervene. The CIA turns to their top "exfiltration" specialist, Tony Mendez, to come up with a plan to get the six Americans safely out of the country. A plan so incredible, it could only happen in the movies.

Great Movie
One of the best films of 2012. Although in my opinion should have won the oscar Zero Dark Thirty. It is clear that we have a great acting and directing Ben Affleck. The steelbook edition is really magnificent.

I bought this steelbook as it was on offer at Zavvi. As per usual, great service and well packed and a good price. I haven't watched this film yet as I intend to buy a dvd copy to do just that and keep my steelbook in pristine, unused condition. Thanks Zavvi.

Argo - Zavvi Exclusive Limited Edition Steelbook is an awesome steelbook. The film is great, for starters. All of the cast are great, and the story is too. The film won Best Picture at the 2013 Academy Awards, so that more-or-less proves the quality of the actual film. Most people buying this, however, I imagine will have seen the film and want to get their hands on a steelbook copy. The steelbook is embossed on the title. It has a nice, glossy finish and looks great on the shelf. This steelbook is a must have for anybody who loves the film, collects steelbooks or simply somebody who loves movies.
