Brit filmmaker Christopher Smith (SEVERANCE, TRIANGLE) directs this historical epic set in England during the Middle Ages. With the plague claiming thousands of lives a cure is desperately sought, but before the disease can be eradicated it must at first be understood why the dead are coming back to life! Sean Bean (THE LORD OF THE RINGS), Carice Van Houten (BLACK BOOK) and David Warner (THE OMEN) co-star in this rip-roaring costume horror.

Another good film from Christopher Smith. Quality acting and production, interesting plot too. This Blu-ray only has a few special features, but they are enjoyable nonetheless. Worthy addition to my collection.

Loved it

I loved this film. The story was original, the characters well developed and it had enough twists and turns to keep you guessing. I watched it with my teenage sons and we all enjoyed it! A great film.
