A moving and terrible story
As Pedro Almodóvar's films go this isnt his best work tobdate. BUT as movies go in general this is effortlessly superior to most features. Penélope Cruz & José Luis Gómez act out brilliant roles, as do the rest of the cast in a movie that is dominated by fatality, jealousy, the abuse of power, treachery and a guilt complex. A moving and terrible story and with out doubt a MUST see film.
