From J.J. Abrams (Lost), Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci -- the team behind Star Trek and Alias -- and executive producers Jeff Pinkner, J.H. Wyman and Bryan Burk, FRINGE returns for a second thrilling season and will continue to explore the unexplained phenomena and terrifying occurrences linked throughout the world -- known simply as "The Pattern" -- in pursuit of a larger, more shocking truth. Set in Boston, the FBI's Fringe Division formed when Special Agent OLIVIA DUNHAM (Anna Torv) enlisted the help of institutionalized "fringe" scientist WALTER BISHOP (John Noble) and his son, PETER (Joshua Jackson), to save her partner and lover from a mind-bending death. Through unconventional and unorthodox methods, the FRINGE team imagines and tests the impossibilities while investigating unbelievable events, macabre crimes and mystifying cases involving teleportation, reanimation, genetic mutation, precognition, artificial intelligence and other fantastical theories. When the unimaginable happens, it's their job to stop it.

fringe season 2
The first season was excellent but this was better. Great story lines, excellent acting, great attention to detail a credit to all involved.

Fringe - Season 2
Season 2 of Fringe seemed better on DVD than on TV 2nd time round-my advice, buy it and get gripped. The more you view the more you want to carry on. Roll on next series 5 star watching.

Innovative Excellence
After the exciting, mysterious yet sometimes slow first series of Fringe, series 2 is a massive leap towards something legendary. This series is a modern classic mixing timeless sci-fi mysticism with edge-of-your-seats plot twists. I superbly written series that has and is still evolving, always delivers something new to keep you interested and begging for more. A mix of deep, expertly crafted characters take lead of the show and give it some realism amongst all strange and inhuman occurrences. If you love science, action, amazing innovative stories and lovable old guys, this is for you. A true must have for any Sci-Fi fan.
