War is hell
This film covers an American tank crew in the post D-Day events as Allies enter Germany. Its a gritty account of life and the people that war creates. The action sequences are great throughout and the dialogue is good. Final battle is again very good if slightly far fetched but enjoyable non the less. A good film about the war.

Good film, but not as good as Band of Brothers or Saving Private Ryan. Some good action and story but nothing AMAZING. Good film though

Excellent
Brilliant film - at last an American war film that doesn't glorify war or their exploits. Very good characters and a truly enjoyable film

Absolutely superb. This is one hell of a war movie and a true representation of how human behaviour changes in conflict. The cast are all superb and the story is unique centring on a tank crew in WW2 who have been in country far too long. 5 stars and a great blu ray experience

Good but not great
This is a very good Hollywood action film. The effects are good and the actors better than 99% of war films. However, it all falls apart in the realism aspect for me. When I'm watching a war film, I want things to be accurate and likely to be the way things happened back then. Not some over dramatised Hollywood blockbuster. In conclusion, worth a watch but don't expect too much. It started with promise that fades towards the end. 3-4 stars overall.
