When Jennifer Corvino (Jennifer Connelly), the daughter of an American film star, moves to a prestigious Swiss boarding school she is instantly labelled a 'Freak’ by her shallow classmates due to her extraordinary gift to telepathically communicate with insects on an instinctive level.
