Somewhat surprising that an animated Star Wars show based on the Clone Wars can be this good. It definitely isn't perfect, and has its ups and downs. There are some terrible episodes mixed in, the first in particular is pretty dull. All in all I'd definitely recommend giving this a go.

Star Wars: Clone Wars - Seasons 1-3 has excellent video quality. The Blu-Ray format really allows the animation to shine. Despite being aimed at teenagers, I found myself thoroughly enjoying most episodes. And those few that had Jar Jar Binks I simply skipped. The ongoing story plots are well constructed. I particularly enjoyed the Clone Trooper story arc. Overall if you are a Star Wars fan, then this is a good way of enhancing the overall universe and back story. Plus, like I said, the animation and special effects are very good on this media type. The higher resolution really makes it 'pop'.

Being a big Star Wars fan and having seen Season 1 at my brothers, I decided to buy this box set. What a good choice I made! I relived all of Season 1 again, enjoying each episode and as I progressed through Season 2 the twists and turns in the story certainly kept it interesting. You do not have to be a die hard Star Wars fan to like the clone wars, but if you are a fan then this certainly doesn't disappoint!

Star Wars: Clone Wars - Seasons 1-3 is a very entertaining series which fans of the original trilogy will enjoy. It expands the characters and gives us more of an idea of what the Clone Wars actually entailed. All in all, well written, well animated, and great action scenes. Very worthwhile watch.

I bought this for my 10 year son for his birthday. I did not think this would be my cup of tea, but having watched this with him, I must say it is outstanding. The picture & sound quality is second to none. It took us 4 days watching many episodes back to back. I highly recommend this to people of all ages.
