It has been eight years since Batman vanished into the night, turning, in that instant, from hero to fugitive. Assuming the blame for the death of D.A. Harvey Dent, the Dark Knight sacrificed everything for what he and Commissioner Gordon both hoped was the greater good. For a time the lie worked, as criminal activity in Gotham City was crushed under the weight of the anti-crime Dent Act.
But everything will change with the arrival of a cunning cat burglar with a mysterious agenda. Far more dangerous, however, is the emergence of Bane, a masked terrorist whose ruthless plans for Gotham drive Bruce out of his self-imposed exile. But even if he dons the cape and cowl again, Batman may be no match for Bane.

The Dark Knight Rises
Great Batman film, thumping soundtrack, a great finish to the trilogy. Batman meets his match in Bane and there are many memorable scenes in the film. A worthy addition to the Bluray collection. 9/10

Not on par with the previous Dark Knight - but still amazing
The Dark Knight was avidly dark, sinister and overall a not so happy movie, but due to this a masterpiece of it's own, different than the typical superhero action flick. The Dark Knight Rises still has something of this vibe, but it's made in a way that anyone in the family would enjoy it. It has a lot to keep you entertained with, and is probably the perfect ending to the trilogy. Give it a try, if you haven't yet.

Trilogy completes
Perhaps not the best out of the three for a lot of people but still an extremely well written and acted film. You either love this Batman series or hate it but I feel you cannot be unimpressed over all. It's not as dark as the second instalment, and missing the incredible performance of the Joker, but nevertheless this ending entertains and leaves you wishing that Nolan and Bale had continued. I read another review on this film earlier where the gentleman said how much better James Bond would be if these two directed and acted in it - and, although I'm a big fan of the latest Bond franchise, I couldn't agree more. Nice conclusion.

Worthy finish to a great trilogy
Although I feel the trilogy peaked with the second film, this final film, The Dark Knight Rises (Includes UltraViolet Copy), is still a worthy end to arguably the greatest superhero trilogy. The action scenes are grander in scale and Tom Hardy puts on a good show as Bane. The image quality is great on this disc and the clarity of the IMAX scenes are amazing. Sound is punchy but sometimes the dialogue can be lost within the action (even with a proper home cinema setup). As for extras on the second disc, the highlight is the Batmobile documentary - awesome and unmissable if you're a Batman fan.

The Dark Knight Rises (Includes UltraViolet Copy) is a brilliant film. Christian Bale makes Batman more believable, only Michael Keaton comes close. What a way to finish the trilogy.

Movie? Great. Service? Poor
Nothing to add to the many superlative reviews out there, this is a fantastic way to end a magnificent Batman trilogy. I don't, though, see the value of Ultraviolet, it's a very poor distant cousin to iTunes/iCloud, which is a far far superior digital platform.
