Everyone's favorite pic-a-nic basket stealing bear brings his meal-mooching ways to movies in this live-action/CG-animated adventure starring Dan Aykroyd as the voice of Jellystone Park's famed troublemaker Yogi Bear and Justin Timberlake as the voice of Yogi's faithful pal Boo Boo. Jellystone has been losing business, so conniving Mayor Brown has decided to shut it down and sell the land. Great but...
I bought this last year but soon realised it only came with 2 discs and no Ultraviolet copy, they sent me another one but that was exactly the same - so if your heart is set on a UV copy, then you might want to look elsewhere. (I am unsure what the 3rd disc would have been anyway) However the film is great family fun, in 2D and in 3D - of course. It has extras in 3D, and not many releases have that these days. I feel the voice talent is good at recreating the voices I grew up with, in the cartoons. It's a bit farcical but I enjoyed it, so you could too.

Great pop-out
I bought Yogi Bear 3D for its potential pop-out. Things jumping out of the screen was why I bought my 3D flatscreen. And yes, things are popping-out and flying through the house room. Only for that it gets a 5 star rating. The story? Well it's a family movie so not a big story but it's pleasant.
