Brideshead Revisited
The definitive 'Brideshead Revisited'. An excellent view of life between the World wars. Charles Ryder takes us into the world of Catholic aristocracy and of a place and time of order and priviledge evading the changing world of outside. A beautifully paced script by John Mortimer of Evelyn Waugh's book of the same name. Performances of Jeremy Irons and Diana Quick and Anthony Andrews very strong and engaging.
