A great buy
One day, high school student Kazuki Muto follows a mysterious girl in an uniform from another school to an abandoned factory near his own school, feeling that she is in danger. What he finds there shakes him to the bone, and then, just as he realizes that the girl can take care of herself he feels something piercing his heart... The next morning he wakes up in is own dorm bed, believing that the whole event was some sort of vivid nightmare. But somewhere he has lost his schoolbag and are set a task as punishment. Stay after school and weed the whole school back yard. There he realizes that his nightmare was not a dream as both the monster that killed him and the girl with the strange weapon strapped to her legs return. The girl turns out to be an Arms Alchemist named Tokiko Tsumura. She saved Kazuki by placing an alchemic device - a kakugane - in his chest to replace his heart. With that he can create his own alchemic weapon and helps Tokiko defeat the homulculus after the monster ate his sister who had come to look for her brother. This is the start of a long story about courage, bravery and a lot of action as the new pair of alchemic warriors must first find and destroy the homumculi lair, then search for the monster's creator who Tokiko thinks is another student at the school. This is only the beginning however, but that is for me to know and you to find out.
