CASABLANCA (DVD)
  • Description
Casablanca: easy to enter, but much harder to leave, especially if your name is on the Nazis' most-wanted list. Atop that list is Czech Resistance leader Victor Laszlo (Paul Henreid), whose only hope is Rick Blaine (Humphrey Bogart), a cynical American who sticks his neck out for no one... especially Victor's wife Ilsa (Ingrid Bergman), the ex-lover who broke his heart. So when Ilsa offers herself in exchange for Laszlo's safe transport out of the country, the bitter Rick must decide what's more important - his own happiness or the countless lives that hang in the balance. Winner of three Academy Awards including Best Picture, 'Casablanca' is 'America's most popular and beloved movie - and rightly so' The Motion Picture Guide.

CASABLANCA (DVD)

great movie A++++++ must have must buy

Casablanca

Casablanca has retained its classic movie status throughout the years for a very understandable reason, it is simply a wonderful piece of film making. The viewing quality may be lower than what individuals are used to today but the underlying story line is as relevant today as it was nearly 70 years ago. If you live in an ultra modern world of lattes, android phones and ebook readers then this film probably isn't for you. However, for everyone else, this film offers a range of experiences that you wont soon forget. Perhaps the ultimate romantic film but still cool enough that men will love it too. A highly recommended viewing opportunity and deserving of a place in your top 10.
