Creation
Charles Robert Darwin is arguably one of the greatest men ever to live. That said it left some colossal sized shoes for Paul Bettany to fill and fill them he did, considering he is acting out a very complex character i think he played it exceptionally. The story follows the path of Darwins emotional ordeals as he procrastinates over whether or not to publish his world shaking book "The Origin Of Species". The film for me spends a little to much time concentrating on his family issues like the story of his eldest daughter who died as a child. Whilst making the film exstremely personal, In my opinion I would have preferred to see more of a mix with his professional achievements, creating a fuller picture of the great man. The story is good, the acting brilliant and faultless. The film is very powerful and emotional and could even be described as a bit of a tear jerker in parts. If your interest in science, Darwin or emotional movies you will really enjoy this.
