Zavvi - The Home of Pop Culture
Newlyweds Dexter and Juliet Munro (Stanley Baxter and Sally Smith) purchase a rundown, ramshackle cottage to escape from her father, the overbearing Shakespearean actor-manager Sir Beverly Grant (James Robertson Justice). The cottage is in dire need of refurbishment - and Sir Beverly is determined to get in on the act! When he turns up on the doorstep, suitcase in hand, Dexter and his wife realise there's no escaping his meddling ways.
Add to the mix an incompetent builder (Ronnie Barker), his skiffling workmates The Scrubbers, and ingratiating amateur thespian Roddy Chipfield (Leslie Phillips), and, the stage is set for a riotous comedy that will literally bring the house down!
This colourful follow-up to THE FAST LADY also features a multitude of cameo appearances by British comedy veterans including Peter Jones, Terry Scott, Hugh Lloyd, Arthur Mullard, James Villiers, and Patrick Newell.
Special Features:
- Original Theatrical Trailer
- Stills Gallery
