I Heart Huckabees
I Heart Huckabees was excellent! The acting was superb, and there were plenty of subtle laughs to be had as a result. The direction is clear, and the film's dialogue is superb, posing many question about life, and how we each respond differently to it. The film lulls a bit, after the halfway mark, and it seems as if it has nowhere to go, however it quickly compensates for this by focusing more on some of the supporting characters, and how they are so very different to the protagonist. The DVD is excellent value as it comes with two full-length audio commentaries. In my opinion, these are the only real special features that are essential, and anything else is just a bonus, and bonuses there are, in the form of out-takes and other extras. Overall, it's a very good purchase, as it offers extremely good value for money, and may even change the way you look at the world. I definitely recommend it.
