Muffle the kid with this!

My three noisy children were quiet for the duration of this movie - that's the most important thing out of the way, and a 5/5 on the strength of that alone. I put Open season 3 on this afternoon becuase I needed to get some work done on my laptop and I knew In order to some quiet a great kids animated movie was my best bet. In retrospect though, I almost wished I had gone with the usual safe bet of Toy story. This is not because Open season is lacking at all - far from it! What I didn't factor in though, was have much I would enjoy the movie - it's a riot and there is more than a few nods to the adults in the humor on show, and a surprising amount of depth to it. But I know you wont be buying this for yourself so I'll repeat - THE KID'S WERE QUIET DURING THIS MOVIE 5/5

Pleasing animation

I went to see Open Season3 with my little cousin and it was a fairly enjoyable viewing without being spectacular or memorable. The film did deliver some laughs and it was suitable for all children, there was no crude humour.

Open Season 3

B-team cast still delivers laughs and with less crude humor.

Open Season 3

My 6-year son loved Open Season 1, and even I found it intermittently amusing. She even liked Open Season 2, which I found considerably less amusing. But she could not sit through Open Season 3. She kept checking the remaining time, and eventually gave up about half way through. The screenplay is just awful: It is embarrassing at times. Even this level of substandard animation requires a lot of work - it's bewildering why they put up with such a poor script.
