He still shares his free-rolling life with his beloved woman Magz (Ruth Jones), an amateur artist who has moved into portrait painting. Magz is bringing a fresh perspective to famous women in history and empowering them sexually by making them topless. Playing sidekick to Stevenage's finest is Raymond (Rasmus Hardiker), who has found a surrogate mum and dad in Tommy and Magz, which is why it's hard for him to watch them grope each other.
Tommy is still acquiring anger management skills in his weekly class, which come in handy on several fronts, such as his new, slightly right-wing neighbour Jonathan (Darren Boyd), Magz' slightly left-wing friend Penny (Rosie Cavaliero) and his eternal torment in pastel pink, Vicky (Morwenna Banks).
Still a counter-culture hero, Tommy defends the alternative lifestyle, showing the youth of today how to free their minds, and demonstrating a deep spiritual awareness to his disillusioned girlfriend. Trouble is, some lifestyles are only alternative because they're crap, the youth of today can be too damn free and when it comes to a spiritual revolution, wearing a fringed native American leather jacket is kidding no-one.
