The colour purple
The Color Purple is one of the best films I have ever seen. I have watched it numerous times and still notice different things each time. The film portrays the life of a young girl into old age. It reflects on many levels of emotion on how black women were treated by not only white people but also black men. It's well worth the watch and be prepared for tissue use!!

Moving !
The Color Purple is the 1982 classic by the mystro Steven Spielberg. Its the story of a young black woman growing up in the deep south in the 1930's. Whoopi Goldberg debuts and is incredable in her performance, the rest of the cast including Danny Glover, Oprah Winfrey, Rae Dawn Chong and Margaret Avery are all also first class in support. You will definately be needing your tissues for this as it is a power and emotional movie. Brilliant and if you havent seen it or havent seen it for a while its a must see.
