Sylvester Stallone directs and stars in this action-packed thriller with a cast that will take you straight back to the 80’s. Stallone plays Barney Ross, the leader of an elite team of mercenaries, The Expendables, who have been sent on a mission that no one else would take, to South America to overthrow a dictator.
Barney and partner Lee Christmas (Jason Statham) travel to their destination undercover as photographers on a reconnaissance mission and upon arrival meet their contact Sandra. When everything goes awry they decide to flee and Sandra gets left behind. Racked with guilt Barney decides to go back to save Sandra and his devoted team join him! (Matt Fairfield).

It was a very poor B movie that did not make any sense. The good actors in the the film were wasted

All of Zavvis DVDs are great. The expendables is an excellent DVD and come with an awesome price. The company runs a great customer care service. All round this review is great, go tell your mother, father and friends.

amazing
one of the best casts thinkable, the first half hour builds up an idea of the plot. After that is when the actioan heroes are in their zone, generally being action men!

The Expendables
I really didn't know what to expect with this film but it was superb, the one-liners are so good. This film is totally action packed from beginning to end with a good enough storyline. Great to see so many well know faces in the one film. I'm sure they could make a follow up no problem. Definitely worth watching.
