The HPH-M82 headphones are beautifully designed with unique diamond-shaped housings and an elegant twist in the connecting headband. Colour-coordinated cables and remotes add to the sophisticated design aesthetic, lending the headphones a feeling of quality and refinement.
Following the design of the housing, the diamond-shaped ear pads provide a perfect fit for the ears, while the use of nylon-fibre covered foam ensure a high level of comfort. Naturally, the headband is fully adjustable to suit the wearer.
Sound quality is assured with a newly developed 40 mm (1-5/8") driver unit employing Yamaha’s unique Tangential Edge diaphragm of superior stiffness and flexibility. Sound leakage is minimised thanks to the shape of the housings that fit snugly over the ears. Through the use of high-quality components and precise tuning, the HPH-M82 headphones are highly musical and natural-sounding over a wide frequency range, making them ideal for all genres of music.
The Tangle-resistant flat cable (1.2 m/4 ft) has an iPhone/iPod/iPad-compatible in-line remote control/microphone you can use to select tracks and adjust the volume, as well as use for voice communications. The convenience and simplicity of the remote control/microphone means you can leave your player in your pocket or bag. The high-quality specification is maintained down to the gold-plated connection plug.
