Mediocre mini-game collection for little kids
I bought It's My Birthday for my kids, aged 3 and 5. They are not an expert on Wii games, but could play some of the mini-games successfully. Unfortunately, every game is played with four players, with the rest of the players controlled by the Wii, and these players play better than my kids, which makes the experience quite frustrating. Another down point is that there's need to create avatars for the players, or choose them semi-randomly if just playing the mini-games. Why not use the Mii, which have already been created, which are also a way to get the kid's name instead of entering it. All in all, it's an okay collection of simple games, and maybe my kids will be happier with it when they are a little bigger. Of course after a certain age they will likely be bored with the simple games. So far I can't see this game replacing Mario Kart Wii or Epic Mickey as something they ask for. They aren't good at these other games either, but at least they are more engaging.
