Step into the footsteps of our hero Aeron, an Athosian soldier who discovers that his close friend Elena has been cursed, shown by the cursemark on her upper back, and who is slowly beginning to mutate into a demonic abomination before your very eyes. The only remedy? The Master Flesh of the twisted and terrifying Tower Lord monsters that live in the 13 Towers, obtained only by using the mystical Oraclos Chain to slaughter these creatures and harvest their meat for Elena to devour, save she become a monster herself.

Pandora's Tower boasts brilliantly designed, highly detailed environments filled with shadow and darkness, emphasising the brutal and grisly storyline and the curse that is eating Elena alive from the inside out. Despite the doom-laden atmosphere that seems to seep into every corner of the world within this game, you won't want to stop exploring. Each Tower you enter will have an elemental theme, with every Tower Lord having corresponding characteristic strengths and weakness to the theme. The gameplay is incredibly exhilarating and powerful, with Aeron armed with two unique and daunting weapons guaranteed to cause ultimate decimation of any monster who dares to confront you. One of these weapons is a bladed weapon ideal for more close quarters combat, delivering devastating damage to each and every one of your foes. The other is the magical Oraclos Chain, which is the main focus point out of any of your various items or weaponry, as it introduces a vast array of options and possibilities into both combat and gameplay. The Chain enables Aeron to perform long range attacks, amongst other things; the Wii Remote directs and aims the Chain, which can be swung to latch onto elements of the environment, allowing you affect your surroundings, activate levers, and reach new levels or heights. The wide range of techniques you can utilise with the Chain implements how you can carry out and create the fast-paced action required to save Elena from her grim fate.

There are a great many gameplay features to be found throughout Pandora's Tower, for instance a time meter is constantly on the screen, which allows you to keep track of how far Elena has succumbed to her curse, changing colour to warn you of how advanced her mutation is. How long you leave Elena for and how much she mutates affects the interactions between herself and Aeron; the personal relationship between the two influences the overall game, and defines which one of the five endings your game will have.
