A game worthy for the name "XCOM"

As a big fan of the old school X-COM games and Firaxis' reboot, I was a bit worried before getting started with this game as I've read a lot of reviews before and it seemed that The Bureau: XCOM Declassified wasn't a wide success, it got pretty mixed ratings. But as soon as I got started with the campaign, my fears just flew away and after beating the game (~25 hours, on Veteran difficulty, performing each minor operation, looking for all possible letters/audio tapes/clues etc.). I realized that this game is just great! It's an exciting tactical TPS which is easy to learn but hard to master. It's true that there are some small holes in the story, but I think the main storyline is a masterpiece, for me, it was like watching an extremely exciting episode of the Stargate SG-1 series for example. The reasons why the game gets only 4 stars from me are the following: It's too short: I know that (unfortunately) it's a new trend nowadays to release short games and make people pay for expensive DLCs later but anyway, for an XCOM game I'd expect a bit longer game time. Anyway, let's hope some cool DLCs will come out just as the developers have promised. The already-mentioned storyline holes: I don't want to spoiler here so I'll say this without any exact explanations but I felt that there were some annoyingly unexplained parts in the story. I think this should have been avoided if the guys would e.g. postpone the release date a bit, but anyway, my hope is in those promised DLCs again. As a conclusion, I'd recommend this game to all true XCOM (and X-COM) fans and anyone who'd like to enjoy a pretty nice tactical TPS game.
