A well made mix of badass and cute
Atelier Ayesha is a great game for people new to the the series as well as people who played any of the Arland games but didn't get into it. It's the first title in the Dusk series and compared to the Arland trilogy it brings some refreshing changes to the combat system and art direction. Characters are likeable, music is one of the best in the series. The only downsides are less emphasis on alchemy and no japanese voice option. Highly recommended.

Atelier Ayesha: The Alchemist of Dusk
This is very solid entry to the franchise and lot has been improved after Garland Trilogy. Gameplay is polished and still offers solid depth. Moreover, battle system has been revamped, more tactical choices, longer battles, lot to discover. On the other hand, alchemy is simplified or we have got used to it after first PS3 trilogy. I love the story and its vibe. It is relaxing, great for autumn evenings and still keeps basic JRPG drama plot construction. Lovers of Atelier rejoice - and everyone who has not been impressed by first three iterations (Rorona, Totori, Mereru) should give it a shot because it is taking series partly to other direction as well.

good game for jrpg lover
The graphics in Atelier Ayesha: The Alchemist of Dusk are comparable to the old Atelier. The armour and clothes do not change graphically. The story is enjoyable and captivating. It's recommended to fans of JRPG.
