Crysis 3 is the feverishly anticipated third instalment in the widely and critically acclaimed Crysis franchise that has been developed by Crytek and published by Electronic Arts. The game is the sequel to Crysis 2, which was released in 2011, and will also run on the ground-breaking CryEngine 3 game engine that was introduced within its prequel. The Crysis series showcases an innovatively created first-person shooter, fusing this with high-tech military shooter and sci-fi elements, as well as sandbox gameplay.
It is the year 2047, and the game revolves around a man by the name of Prophet, a character that has been re-introduced since the events of Crysis 2, and who has returned home to New York to discover that absolutely nothing is as he left it. In the aftermath of the alien invasion, New York City has been encased in a gigantic Nanodome bubble created by the sinister and vindictive Cell Corporation with the pretence of protection, leaving it to fester and transform itself into an urban rainforest. Within the nicknamed Liberty Dome the environment has been split into seven separate themed areas known as the Seven Wonders, with once tall and proud skyscrapers now crumbling away to nothing, the underground system rotting away as dark and dank caverns, and rivers where there were once roads. Now it is up to you as the protagonist Prophet to hunt down the members of the corrupt Cell Corporation, in order to discover the truth behind their actions.
Armed with an enhanced Nanosuit, a lethal composite bow, as well as high tech human and alien technology and weaponry, both skill and adaptation is crucial if you want to survive this treacherous urban jungle, which is fraught with both human and Alien Ceph enemies. Prepare to be kept constantly on edge as you never know what might be lurking around the corner in this unpredictable ravaged city, and be ready to turn every situation and use this environment to your advantage. The extraterrestrials still wander the streets of New York, but this time you’re ready for them. Get ready to stalk, track, and hunt throughout this ruined city in pursuit of your pray, and ultimately revenge. (Cat Emerson)

nice game
It's a very nice game but very hard even for players who play hard games!

Funny
The game is very entertaining. The campaign is slightly short but it has an awesome graphs and a lot of weapon. The bow is incredible.

Cry3
From a technical perspective, then, Crysis 3 is undoubtedly one of the most sophisticated releases to date. However, the leap forward in visual beauty hasn't quite been complemented with a similar advance in gameplay. The AI is fairly decent, featuring very realistic qualities, but is also unnaturally aggressive, while the larger, more organic environments lack the same level of scope found in the original Crisis. In that respect Crytek's decision to create a more story-focused campaign - while factoring in more of the freedoms given to the player from the first Crysis - works very well, but not without feeling that the core ideas contained within are held back by the lack of ambition in other areas, outside of crafting even bigger visual spectacles with each new installment.

Solid sequel
Crysis 3 is not as revolutionary as the first two parts but still worth playing for an epic Zavvi price.

A Disappointing Third Chapter.
Like most people, Crysis 3 was not my introduction to the series. I'd played previous installments and enjoyed them greatly, I was not at all opposed to the change from Jungle to Urban setting and was overjoyed when I heard Crysis 3 announced. Sadly though, this failed to live up to expectations. The game play feels significantly more restricted (there's a particular problem with using unplayable cutscenes to accomplish what the player could have by themselves). The environments are not too varied and often come back to horrid, bland and grey as far as the eye can see. I wouldn't even say it was a noticeable graphical improvement since 2. The story, without spoiling anything, is dreadful and frequent moments of "forced emotion" will make you feel uncomfortable as you're meant to relate to 2d characters. There's also a quite heavy emphasis early in the campaign on stealth, no doubt to show off the only significant addition (The Predator Bow). The campaign will last you about 4-5 hours and I had to force myself to finish it, I see no reason to go back, even the few and far between set pieces aren't worth showing off. The multi-player is where the fun is, but it's nothing you haven't seen before. If you've played previous Crysis multi-player or even spent a significant amount of time in any Call Of Duty then you'll find it uninspired.

Excellent Game
I rate Crysis 3 five stars! It's excellent, has great graphics, lots of weapons all of which have the ability for add-ons and upgrades and their on-line multiplayer is excellent too. It has the option, if you're a novice to start of with other players that have the same abilities so you're not just thrown in with others that have all the upgrades and experience. Enjoy!
