Good game, with enough suspense and essential for the collection

From the Resident Evil series, through the SIlent Hill one the gaming panoramic had some of the best horror game never made, but in this last years the developers tried to make some changes to the classic formula of this type of software. Deadly Premonition made what Resident Evil in this years doesn't for gamer, SCARE all of us! In this Director's Cut the software house has fixed somethings as graphic, contents, new items and some more to give the best experience for gamers. The best horror game of the last gaming generation.

Deadly premonition is simply the best game ever, nothing more, nothing less. No, I'm not joking. Taking control of FBI special agent Francis York Morgan (please, call me York), you have to investigate a horrific homicide of a young girl, located in the mysterious town of Greenvale (a fictional little country in the west of US.). But the case degenerates quickly, revealing the existence of a serial killer. The plot is inspired by the unforgettable TV series "Twin Peaks" as well as its supernatural events to the bizarre personality of characters, but there are all original additions that make it unique and so effective. Every element of the design, from Greenvale to its citizen, is simply amazing: a lovely tribute to the surreal works of David Lynch, full of West-American folklore (like Alan Wake, more or less) stereotyped mad characters and supernatural events (like Silent Hill otherworld, full of monters). The best aspects of the game are the location, storyline and the characters, or rather everything not concerning the gameplay or graphics: these are the biggest advantages that far surpass the flaws, and in fact Deadly Premonition is simply a great masterpiece. By the way, the PS3 version has improved graphics (not much) and controls (very useful), making it better than the original version.

Deadly premonition is a delightful game that some have had to enjoy it because although large gaming websites do not understand how important is the fun and quality of the story .. in short, any player who loves survival horror be engaged in this game as much as me. Good game. I recommend it.

If you didn't play the original Deadly Premonition on 360, you have no reason to skip this game now. Think about Shenmue directed by David Lynch (or Suda51), maybe not the best graphics but certainly the funniest and weirdest dialogues in a video game. It's the third time I have bought this game, I have Red Seed Profile on ps3 (in japanese), the original on 360 (translated), I'm glad I own the Director's Cut with new content and gameplay which is another way to go back to Greenvale.

Never has a game divided opinions as much as this has. I had played the original game on the Xbox and have eagerly been awaiting the director's cut. Well let's start with the bad of this game. Graphics, controls and game physics are total rubbish but on the whole the game is just laugh out loud awesome! From the start one can instantly draw similarities to the famous Twin Peaks series, same environment and same crazy characters. The game is just hilarious, especially the "zombies". The game also features an amazing story and soundtrack. There is so much to do in the game as it is a sandbox style of survival "horror". All in all the game is a memorable experience!!

Deadly Premonition: The Directors Cut, is the most critically polarising video game of all time, with all new content and improved graphics. From the offset, it is clear that this game was inspired by the classic TV show from 1990, Twin Peaks, but what this game is able to do very differently is that it is able to inject a huge helping of B-movie horror and cheesy comedy into the mix, while still being able to deliver an interesting and thought-provoking story that will keep you guessing until the very end. This is not to say the game is perfect, the game suffers from poor control issues and mechanics, along with graphical fidelity that makes the game look like it would be more at home on a PlayStation 2. Yet if you are able to look past these flaws, you will find a fantastic game deserving of its cult classic status, but if your looking for the next killer AAA franchise, you will be going home disappointed.

You know, most of the modern day games are so lazy, it's all about win and conquer. Explosions everywhere and people killing each another. But Deadly Premonition is a whole different story. If you tired from blockbusters and you want to play something unique and bizarre you should try out this game. It's awesome, trust me.
