massive multiplayer online third person shooter
Great game to enjoy with friends in an open world sci-fi shooter set in a future San Francisco. It also ties in with a tv series shown on Syfy channel.

Good game!
Defiance is THE game this console has been missing for a long time. Tons of things to do, Excellent combat system, fun and very fast for an MMO or any type of game for that matter.

Defiance - Epic
Defiance is simply brilliant, there's so much going on at once you can never get bored. It's a great tie in with the series, with brilliant on form developers. I can see this going far, it's the first proper MMORPG for consoles. One drawback, it takes ages to set up and eats 10gb to install. It's worth it!

Defiantly decent
Defiance is a good game that is slightly different from the norm. Yes it is a shooter, but the difference is even when you play on your own and not in co-op or verses multi-player modes you are not alone, as there are others about who you can join to complete your objectives if they are doing the same one at the same time. I have given this a 4 rating because when you first load the game, it can take nearly an hour of patching before you even get to play the game. Also, sometimes you get kicked out because there is a server problem, but other than that it's a good main game and has lots of side quests and challenges.

great concept
Defiance has some brilliant ideas but the missions can be tedious, doing the same thing over and over again. It's a great game to be played with friends, exploring the vast world of defiance.

Original-ish
Defiance is good. I thought the idea of having hundreds of players working together was pretty cool and it works. The arkfall encounters are massive, epic chaos. I like the fact that it is linked with a TV show.

Defiance
I pre-ordered Defiance and it arrived on the day of release. Trion have put together one of the best, if not the best massive multi-player online game on console. I've been playing non-stop and have enjoyed Trion's support and updates - they know how to keep customers informed. I'm also looking forward to the TV show that ties in with this. If you liked Mass Effect, Halo, Gears of War etc. then buy this game!

Amazing but slightly problematic
Defiance is a MMO, so make sure you like that type of thing. I loved every moment of this game due to the co-op features, and I highly recommend playing the entire game in co-op in order to enjoy it!
