Dishonored is the feverishly anticipated innovative and imaginative first person action adventure game developed by Arcane Studios, and published by Bethesda Softworks. This game promises to be an immersive experience, set in a Neo-Victorian steam punk open world that begs players to explore it, combined with both stealth and supernatural action and combat. Take your time to explore the world around you, or dive into the action head first; when it comes to Dishonored, you can set your own pace as to how you want to pursue your vengeance.
You play as the protagonist Corvo, a legendary former guard for the Empress, of whom he was framed for the murder by the vindictive Lord Regent. Now, gifted with supernatural powers and freed from prison by a mysterious humanoid enigma known only as The Outsider, you set out to exact your revenge. The vengeance you seek can be performed with the help of a creative and flexible combat system, where you can combine your supernatural abilities with the weapons you are an expert in, along with peculiar gadgets. You are well versed in the use of swords, daggers, and guns (including slow pistols and muskets), and have access to a variety of powers that range from being able to freeze time for a certain period, possess any living creature, summon plague animals such as rats, as well as teleport short distances. Being both a weapons and stealth expert, you have the choice to perform your kills under cover of darkness, or attack your target head on with swords drawn and guns blazing, utilising the environments you find yourself in and the gadgets and powers you possess.
The outcome of each mission and assassination you carry out reflects the choices you made throughout the game; there are a multitude of options and choices to make within Dishonored, each of which can drastically affect the world around you, with consequences you may not be able to predict. The game is designed to be player-paced, meaning that you can approach the world either fast-paced and action packed, or slowly as you take your time to explore and study the details of the world around you and its history. Your main environment will be the oppressive city of Dunwall, a ravaged and decaying sea port, where the incredible graphics of Dishonored really shine. There is an incredibly impressive attention to detail at work within the game, whether it's on the graceful yet vicious assassinations you perform, or the shadowed and decaying decor of the city of Dunwall; the visuals are stunning, and create a tense and palpable atmosphere as you utilise your skills of stealth and flit from shadow to shadow.
Traverse through the incredible world of Dishonored, exploring every inch of the city and having every inch open and available to you to peruse, with the entire game shaped around the multitude of decisions and choices you can make. Take part in the graceful yet brutal blood spilling, as you set out to exact your revenge and bring the city of Dunwall to its knees for wrongfully imprisoning you. Redeem your honour through bloodshed. (Cat Emerson)

Good Game
Bought this game for my son as a Xmas present. If we're at home, he's always playing this game. He likes to kill the mice!

amazing!
This game is just hard to classify So many ways to play it, and each way is awesome, either sneaking behind the enemy or destroying everything Using charms and weapons Dishonored will make you want to replay it time after time!

It's
This game is AMAZING! I haven't been so pulled in a virtual world since Fallout 3 or New Vegas. And the steam punk theme it's fantastic and very believable. The graphic design and the details of the world are gorgeous, making me sometimes to forget about a mission and just look at some paintings or admiring and watching the NPC as they live their lives. But after all this is or it can be a very dark experience and it's so chilling and addicting to listen to heart telling me the grim sad stories of the city and it's inhabitants. A Masterpiece which can be played at least 3 times without getting repetitive (High Chaos - darker, lots of kills / Low Chaos - no kills or just a few / Medium Chaos - just your plain sometimes kill sometimes don't type of play). Highly recommended!

Stealth-Action on its best
Very wonderful graphics and of course an interesting and deep story with steampunk elements in a fictional world in the 18th century. You can decide between a very offensive, brutal style of gameplay or a less aggressive and clever way to solve the different tasks. You have many chances to win the game. Many futuristic weapons and special attacks and a cool setting. Great game.

Dishonored
I found Dishonored to be a little disappointing, especially after reading reviews comparing it to Bioshock. Let me assure you, Dishonored is not fit to lick Bioshock's boots. There's too much stealth involved and not enough full on combat. When combat does happen, you're left struggling to effectively swap through powers and weapons, which incidently don't allow much ammo at all. If you liked the gameplay of Deus Ex, then buy it. If you prefer full on combat, look elsewhere.

Dishonored
Overall Dishonored is a very good game. It's very addivtive to play in either stealth with no kills and even being seen, or full on assassin killing everything in your path. The fight mechanics are great, similar to Skyrim but better. It arrived a day after release day but I did order it a few days before.
