Madden NFL 13 is a good game, with significant improvements over the last version I owned, Madden 10. Superstar mode now has a lot of appeal and now there is actually a reason to train/practice between games. The in-game camera can also be changed in SS mode, and is much less inhibiting. The other significant change I like is the physics engine. It is far from polished, but now players react to how they are hit and, in theory, by the weight of the opposing players. So a heavier running back is less likely to get flattened by a defensive back. There are a few glitches that spoil the realism, but it's a step in the right direction. Overall it's a good game. If you're currently playing madden 10 like I was then I would recommend this version.

Madden 13, The future?
Madden 13 promised to be the future of American football games, with this new physics engine improving how tackles are made, how balls are thrown and how CBs react in defence. This promise was mostly fulfilled with some minor glitches appearing now and then. There is especially a problem with pocket passing with your offensive line if retreating ma, which causes him to run into and bounce back another five or so yards. All in all it is a much needed improvement on previous Madden games and gives me hope for the future of the Madden franchise!
