Medal of Honor: Warfighter (Limited Edition) is the feverishly awaited first-person shooter game that is a direct sequel to the rebooted version of Medal of Honor, which was released in 2010. The game is the fourteenth instalment in the innovative and internationally critically acclaimed video game series, and is developed by Danger Close Games, and published by Electronic Arts. This Limited Edition of Warfighter includes an exclusive U.S. Navy Seal Tier 1 Sniper pack that acts as an early multiplayer unlock at launch.
As Warfighter is a direct sequel, the game will continue the story of Medal of Honor as players once again get to control Tier 1 Operators; the most elite of soldiers. Preacher, the character from the first game, returns home to find his family torn apart by his years of deployment; the single-player mode is based upon the stories of real-life Tier 1 Operators, and shows another side of war told intimately by the families of these often self-sacrificing military operatives.
The game is set at the time of 2002 in realistic Middle East warfare campaigns, including Pakistan amongst others, and allows you to experience these real world events and the action that comes with them. Gameplay will give players the opportunity to rescue hostages from Abu Sayyaf's stronghold in Basilan in the Philippines, take down Al-Shabaab's "Pirate Town" on the Somali Coast, and much more. Warfighter takes on the global aspect of warfare, allowing you to team up with the local Special Forces team wherever you're operating, challenging your wits and testing your keen military instincts all around the world.
Multiplayer mode has been developed to boast multi-national gameplay, including twelve different Tier 1 Operators, and from which you can choose to play as British SAS soldiers, Australian SASR, Polish GROM teams, the German KSK, and more. The scale of multiplayer has vastly increased, and with the amount of team options, players can really feel a sense of national pride when they take up arms. With multi-national multiplayer in place, now the world's crème de la crème of soldiers can go head-to-head in combat in Tier 1 blue-vs.-blue team play.
Medal of Honor: Warfighter has been developed by Danger Close Games with DICE's Frostbite 2 engine, bringing a brand new graphical depth and multi-textured visuals that enhance every aspect of the environments, action, and characters. Bullets obliterate the objects around you, the decimation and carnage you can create is completely visually amplified by the use of the Frostbite 2 engine, and no detail is spared. The power of the engine is positively ground-breaking, emphasising the intensity of the battle, placing you on the front line and allowing you to experience every second of war as if you were really there. Prepare for high-action, adrenaline-fuelled gameplay that is guaranteed to get your blood pumping and keep you on the edge of your seat from start to finish.(Cat Emerson)

Excellent
I think Medal of Honor: Warfighter is even better than Medal of Honor 2010! I'd recommend this to anyone who enjoys their shooters.

Nice engine, but BF3 used it better...
I pre-ordered my Limited Edition a while before its release date. Why? It uses Frostbite 2 engine - the same one that powers Battlefield 3. Battlefield 3 in my opinion is purely awesome, so I was expecting pretty-much the same quality from this latest Medal Of Honor: Warfighter. The fact is - it's just a good game which could have been so much better. The characters generally look fine, but why do they have such enormous heads? The main character's daughter looks like an alien, but she is not the only one. I find this important since I have been involved in AAA game design for 7 years. Secondly, the campaign is short. I don't play online (except for co-op and some racing titles from time to time), so I wanted a longer campaign - I finished it in 5 hours or so. There's not that many major "issues" except for these 2 in my opinion. Why did I give 4 stars? Well, the game gets many things right. I really liked the missions where you need to drive. I also liked the game play as I finished the game in one go. And I loved the stealth and sniping portions. All in all it's a good game worth trying.

Medal Of Honor: Warfighter Limited Edition
I've only played the online so far in Medal of Honor: Warfighter but this game is great. There could be more variety in the maps but other than that it's excellent.

Could be better
Disappointing really. The peak from cover is a nice touch but there are no vehicles, the environment is not as destructive, the campaign is short and the online multiplayer is over complicated. Not as good as the first in my opinion. Missing some of the things that make the Medal of Honour and Battlefield releases stand out from the rest.
