The intrepid Captain Toad sets off on his own adventure for the very first time through a wide variety of tricky, enemy-infested, maze-like stages to find hidden gems and nab elusive gold stars. The pink-pigtailed Toadette is introduced as a second playable character in portions of the upcoming game. Unlike traditional video game heroes, Captain Toad and Toadette don’t have any special powers – these tiny heroes can’t even jump! Plus, they’re terrified of just about everything, but face their adventures head on. Armed with headlights and a can-do attitude, they must make their way through enemy-infested locales like Wild West shanties and Goomba waterparks. Each location is bursting with puzzles to solve and secrets to unearth.

Once again Nintendo have a hit on there hands. Captain Toad is one of those games that is childish but fun like all Mario related games. If you have a Wii U and fancy a chuckle then get this game. I give it ***** fun (5) stars.
If you liked the captain toad section from mario 3d world then you'll love this game. This game is just so much and has a nice learning curve with it being easy to get into but becomes quite devious later on. the game doesn't reuse the same mechanics twice and also mixes things up and puts what may seem obvious on its head. Really worth a look if you're into puzzle platformers.
My 12 year old son had his eyes on this title as soon as it was announced. From the ridiculous excitement he got just tearing open the packaging to the hours spent playing it's clear that this particular audience was as satisfied as it could possibly be. Captain Toad, I salute you.
Good game for kids and people who like a puzzle xxxx
