Big tyres, lots of mud and noisy engines… this is the Big Toys Monster Truck Experience. Get behind the wheel of three monster trucks, including the incredible full sized American “Grizzly". One of the largest monster trucks available to drive in the UK, this beast features 5ft 6in high wheels and a 7.5 litre V8 engine.
In the European ‘Black Ice’, you’ll get behind the wheel of a Toyota high lux, with a massive 18 inch lift, a purpose built high arc suspension system, and 44 in Ground Hawg tyres. Your last experience of the day is a thrilling Rallykart time trial - powered by a 400cc Honda engine with rear wheel drive and rear wheel brakes. You’ll need to drive your kart better and faster than anyone else to be crowned the winner. This is an awesome day of thrills for anyone who loves big machines and lots of engine power.

What happens on the day?
You should arrive at the off road track centre for your allotted time, where you will be given a full introduction and safety briefing before being shown to your first exciting vehicle.
You’ll then get the chance to drive all three of the ‘big toys’ around a specially designed course, including a European monster truck, an American monster truck and a 400cc Rallykart, which you will drive in a time trial competition.
Validity
Your voucher is valid for 9 months from the date of issue
Please note you must have booked and taken your experience before the expiry date
Participant guidelines
- Minimum age: 17
- Minimum height: 5ft
- Maximum height: 6ft 4in
- Maximum weight: 20 stone
- You must have reasonable mobility to climb in and out of the cabs and be fit enough to drive over rough terrain
- You must check with your doctor if you have a condition (including pregnancy) that could be adversely affected by driving over bumpy off-road terrain. A driving licence is not required, but the driver must be able to drive a manual vehicle competently
- Please note: Taller/heavier people may be accommodated with prior arrangement
- There is no disabled access to this venue
- Up to two spectators are welcome to attend with you to add to the enjoyment of the day. Please note that there are no indoor viewing areas and spectators follow the event from course to course
- Please note: The site is unsuitable for young children
- The experience content, equipment used and restrictions may vary
- The centres contracted with us hold public indemnity liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover.
- Some driving operators require customers to complete an Indemnity/Damage waiver form on the day of the experience. This may state that the driver will be liable for a fixed amount of costs should they damage the vehicle whilst driving. Most of these suppliers are able to provide Indemnity/Damage Waiver at a small additional fee (usually £20-£45) payable on site. The purchase of this is optional and is in addition to the Public Liability Insurance held by all venues. The full details of any indemnity or damage waiver will be provided by the activity operator. We are unable to advise or comment on the content or suitability of these products.
- A cancellation indemnity, subject to terms, is included with every voucher.
Availability
This experience is available on selected weekend dates throughout the year.
We recommend you book at least four weeks in advance to ensure that dates are available. All bookings are subject to availability.
The session lasts approximately 2 hours with start times between 08.30 and 14.00 - these times can run later in the summer. Total driving time is approximately 30 minutes.
What about insurance?
The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.
A cancellation indemnity, subject to terms, is included with every voucher.
How it works
All you have to do is pay for the experience you wish to purchase and we’ll send a voucher and booking information to you or directly to the recipient, then you just need to check the info and book your experience.
