We're not quite sure where the name Bucky Balls comes from, but we're pretty sure that we trust whoever came up with it - these tiny magnetic balls make a fantastically addictive game. There's not really any point to it, but the sheer addictive nature of mucking around with a load of magnets will be enough to keep you entertained for a long time.
You can make any shape you like out of them, whether it's a pattern, a necklace, a bizarre Dali-esque sculpture or an attempt at creating miniature version of the cast of The Archers.
Funnily enough, the hardest thing to do is make it into a cube. It's nigh on impossible but that won't stop you from shirking your day-to-day duties in an attempt to complete it.
Fiendishly difficult, a constant distraction and rather good fun all at the same time. Not recommended for train drivers.
Features:
- A fiendishly addictive set of 216 tiny magnetic balls.
- Craft as many shapes and patterns as you like.
- Try forming a cube - not as easy as it sounds.
- Potentially unlimited fun.
- Suitable for ages 12 years + (contains small parts - in fact, the packaging is plastered with rather scary warnings about how ingesting a tiny magnet can play havoc with your insides).
Size:
- H: 3 W: 3 D: 3 cm (when assembled in cube formation).
