Spend more and get something better
Not sure how the reviewer above is connecting to the Xbox 360 or PS3. Firstly the DVD unit has all the connections on the back so you MUST connect the speakers to that. There is no optical out/hdmi, only scart or s-video, therefore no way to connect your console to this. You can pass the TV-audio through to the dvd unit and play consoles like that but I have found no way to adjust the volume level. It is loud, pretty good actually but enough to cause everyone in the house to notice. Turning the TV volume down does not affect anything and turning the volume down on the unit does not do anything either. All in all a waste of money as I have no intention of watching DVDs on this unit, no upscaling and very rough looking picture. Might buy an av receiver and make use of the speakers. Spend your money elsewhere.

Great Product for the price!!
If you're looking for a cheap 5:1 surround sound system this is unbelievable quality. It was a bit of a fiddle to start up, that's why I'm only giving it 4, but the sound quality whilst linked to my ps3 and xbox 360 is outstanding! A must buy, highly recommended by yours truly :) !

Fantastic
Wow what a fantastic product at such a fantastic price. Really easy to set up as all of the leads are colour coded to the sockets on the back of the unit. Great sound and cable lenghths of the two rear speakers is a good length so easily reaches around the room giving a full surround sound.
