Well Worth It

As the name suggests, the shape of the boot upper is in fact "concave" supposedly providing a bigger and better sweet spot when striking the ball. The concave component has two functional benefits, a 4x increased sweet spot surface area for increased power and precision, and a MetaGuard for protection of the metatarsal region. On first inspection when they arrived (very quickly) from sendit.com, they looked a little odd, and were quite awkward to get into (due to the lacing being under the concave component). However, once I had got them on, they proved to be both very sensitive to the touch of the ball, and also they were very confortable and light. I did find it very easy to strike the ball hard, and for the most part the accuracy of my passing/shooting was good. To conclude then, if you are looking for a new pair of boots, and would like something a little less common than the usual brands - all without breaking your bank balance, then Concave Sports are possibly the brand for you also. Highly recommended.

Well Worth A Try

I was amazed that I managed to pick up a moulded soled pair in a size 9 (adults) for under £20 including postage! So I thought I would give them a go at my Tuesday night eight-a-side game on 3G astroturf. When they arrived from sendit.com (very promptly I might add), on first inspection they looked a little odd, and were quite awkward to get into (due to the lacing being under the concave component). However, once I had got them on, they proved to be both very sensitive to the touch of the ball, were very comfortable and light. I did find it very easy to strike the ball hard, and for the most part the accuracy of my passing/shooting was good. To conclude then, if you are looking for a new pair of boots, and would like something a little less common than the usual brands - without breaking your bank balance, then Concave Sports are possibly the brand for you also.
