The Running Man 4K Steelbook
5Excellent 4K transfer of an 80’s Sci-Fi classic. Picture quality is superb with rich deep colours and crystal clear visuals and brightness where it should be in the right scenes. The steelbook itself has great artwork with an 80’s nostalgic design based on the film and also comes with a slipcover which can help protect the steelbook. Highly recommended purchase.

Good release not worth the cash
4Comes with slip and movie from the pictures looks like it comes with cards nothing like Todd the disk is just the movie looks great but no extras to expensive for what you get

Gold release
3From the pics it looks like it comes with cards etc but in reality you get the steelbook and looks good and a slipcover I hate slipcovers but this one is actually better than the art on the steelbook there are no extras at all on this release just a fantastic version of the film

I’ll Be Back! Only In 4K!
5I could never understand why “The Running Man” has always been thought of as a rubbish film, it’s a very underrated “Schwarzenegger” and eighties (released in 1987) film indeed. I’ve grown up with this classic action film and I’ve always loved it since childhood, it also was the first film I ever bought on VHS tape too. I think they’ve done a fantastic job of the 4K remaster of this Steelbook edition. Stunning detail, colours really pop and a very beautifully designed Steelbook and slipcase, the film looks better than it’s ever looked. There’s only one downside to this edition, “Paramount” hasn’t included any extras at all (or a standard Blu-Ray disc of the film), just the barebones 4K Ultra HD disc. It’s a real shame as this is a 35th anniversary edition of the film, but it’s still definitely worth buying for the excellent upgraded picture quality or your a big fan of this misunderstood eighties gem.
