5I wanted to buy band of brothers for my dad because he has wanted to see it for ages. I have watched all of it before and love it! Zavvi's price is fantastic, especially for blu-ray. Really happy with this purchase!

Amazing package
5The directing and acting in this speaks for itself and can't say anything that hasn't been said before. As for technical quality, the image and sound are great. So turn down the lights, turn up the sound and get ready to apologise to your neighbours.

5Band Of Brothers is excellent value for money, and remains to be one of the best war stories around, and it makes for even better viewing in blu-ray. Once you start to watch this, you will not want to switch it off. The scenery takes you right to the front line! The story lines are authentic and captivating - well worth a watch, and perfect to watch with your partner! It's a bit gory for the children though!

5Simply put this is the best war mini series you are ever likely to see which has been directed by Steven Speilberg and Tom Hanks. Based on the true life events of "Easy Company" it follows the regiment through their lows and highs during the war with stunning visuals and superb sound. If like me you have a speaker system you'll be interested to know that the blu ray also has a DTS Master Audio encode which is stunning.

Amazing!
5Band of Brothers was an excellent series, it sucks you in straight away. The characters chemistry is brilliant, the effects are some of the best I've seen on a TV series aswell. The Blu-ray quality is definately worth the extra money.

Lunchbox of a bloody good taste
5This set is a must for all those who like good cuts, excellent scenes and of course some action too. Saving private Ryan was only the prologue for this miniseries... Easy Company provide us all the goodies for an exciting, varied and insider show.

The best TV film ever!!!
5Band Of Brothers is the best TV film i have seen by far! Let me start with the Picture quality of the Blu-ray, put simply it looks excellent, not the best Blu-ray picture quality i have seen but it is much better then the standard DVD release. The Sound quality is what makes it for me, the lossless DTS-HD Master Audio sound is incredible, one of the best sound tracks i have heard on Blu-ray. You can notice on some action films the dialogue can be drowned out at times during explosions or gunfire but not in this, it is clear and crisp even in the loudest scenes, if you have a Blu-ray Surround Sound with DTS-HD Master Audio then this is a Must have Box Set. Directed by my favourite director 'steven Speilberg' and the great 'Tom Hanks'(could this have ever been made badly) combined they have created a wonderful insight to the paratroopers during D-day and their fight through Europe, for me it is one of the best (alongside Saving Private Ryan) films about the second world war in Europe and it really gives you an insight as to what they may have gone through. I own this Box set on DVD already but when i heard about this Blu-ray edition with its DTS-HD Master Audio soundtrack i just had to buy it and if you havn't already then i suggest (if it is not on your christmas list already) you stop reading this and order it and with Zavvi's extremely reasonably price (cheaper than Amazon) i highly recommend Band Of Brothers in Blu-ray.

The best TV series available on blu-ray
5If you want to see a superbly written and amazing to watch TV series this is the one to buy. Although there may be a very few better TV series around (The Wire for one) none come even close to Band Of Brothers for the sheer spectacle and visual quality of the series on blu-ray - this is what the format was made for. This is a must have and a bargain at this price.
