Excellent film, especially worth watching on Blu-Ray
5I saw most of Hotel Transylvania on the plane, and enjoyed it more than I expected. I ordered it on Blu-ray and I'm so glad I did. I saw a lot of details I'd previously missed on the small screen. This is lots of fun with adult and kids humour, great artwork, sound and voice acting. One thing that really stands out exceptionally in this film is the attention to detail on the animation: they followed the process normally used in 2D hand-drawn animations of stretching & contorting the characters to emphasise the characters, which they have done an amazing job of here. There is a mini-documentary in the special features which explains and shows this technique among others (motion blur, etc). Overall, this is highly recommended as it's an enjoyable film.

Great film!
5Usually films about Halloween would scare young kids but Hotel Transylvania handles it sensitively. My kids are 4 and 5 and didn't get scared and found it very funny!
