Stone cold classic stunning on blu ray
5As a steelbook collector this is one of my most prized possessions. A gorgeous steelbook case for a film that was a childhood favourite and still remains amongst my favourites to this day.

The Skull over the "i"
4Definitv one of the best children's films. The Steelbook has a matt finish and the title is embossed. The skull as a dot over the i looks very cool. Great Steelbook!

Great classic
5I love this film brings back memory's from my younger days, great storyline, old school actors and wicked soundtrack, one of the best films of the 80s.

Steel appeal!
5I'm sure you all know the film is pure genius so this is all about the packaging. I held off on buying this steelbook as they were getting overpriced. When I finally bagged it a little cheaper I realized it was well worth the original asking price (though I didn't shed a tear over saving few quid!) Gorgeous original Drew Struzan artwork on the front, with a metallic tint to the printing that practically glows. Definitely a top notch steelie. As a packaging junkie that feels movies should have a little glamour in their presentation in this increasingly download only culture I'm happy to see this beauty. In case you're wondering on the Blu-ray itself, it looks marvelous and all the excellent extras from the DVD are ported over, including the brilliant commentary with the full gang and Director Richard Donner, enhanced with the occasional 'picture in picture' of the energetic proceedings (the cheerleader still looks phenomenal at the time of filming the extras, BTW, 2004 or so I believe) You'll be truffle shuffling with joy!

5For me one of the best children's adventure films of all time. The Steelbok just looks ingenious, nice and high quality. Front, back and internal pressure, borders, title coined. Obligation for each Steelbook collection. Thank Zavvi, full marks.

Beautiful steel of a classic movie
5I've had every version of this film, from VHS to Blu-ray,but I am so glad that I double-dipped with the steelbook version. The movie is a classic and looks gorgeous on Blu-ray. The steel is gorgeous and so much better looking than the Amaray version. Zavvi's service was excellent,the steel arrived in quick time and was superbly packaged. A very happy customer
